Who We Are
Rooted in German baking traditions, our mission is to create exceptional, high-quality breads and pastries. We source grains grown and milled locally from regenerative farms practicing sustainable agriculture to craft naturally fermented whole grain breads. Baked slowly and shared locally, our breads are made thoughtfully with the health of our community in mind.
From grain to community, we foster meaningful connections between people. We nourish not only our community but also neighboring nonprofits whose values align with ours. We invest in our people by encouraging diversity and providing pathways for growth.
EDGAR LOESCH —
Owner / Baker
Edgar was raised in Romania by a family of Germans, spending much of his youth on his grandparents farm. He was taught traditional ways of preparing and preserving food, without realizing they were dying arts. Today he is a master of his craft, recreating the recipes of his youth for the modern palate.
